Hi my name is K. Not Kay, Kaye or KK. Just K. I am 17 years old and I have something to share. I have never spoken of this ever, before now. This is something I don't even repeat to myself. I keep it locked up in the conscience part of my memory. I keep telling myself it was all just a bad, sick twisted dream. But in reality it really isn't... This is my story. The girl named k.

Maybe it was a short time or maybe it wasn't, but I fell for him. Landing hard on the pavement. And watching him, from the corner of my eye, locking lips that didn't belong to the last.

Entering #MyLoveandProfanity contest. Being a shy girl, I've never really stood up for who I am and what I believe in. I usually just let others sculpt out my personality and beliefs to how they wanted things. Until my best friend, now former best friend, pushed me past my limit. Note- This story includes personal and religious beliefs so be aware in case offense may come. Offense of course is not intended.

This is my story. I'm choosing to tell it. If you don't like it, then, well.... that's your problem.

"Live, love, and laugh like there is no tomorrow" Nobody wants to be forgotten; they want to be remembered. Their memory cherished. And this is no different for me. My story has many morals. It's a story full of sorrow and joy, high roads and low roads. But most of all, it's a story of how every breath is a miracle. I looked outside the car window. Around me, the familiar rugged landscape of Pennsylvania came into view as we entered my hometown, and it took nearly everything in me to keep myself from jumping out of the seat. I wanted to cry, scream, do something! Give me one victory. Give me one thing to hold on to. It was almost surreal. For the first time in a whole year, I’m coming home today.
